Index Of Sacred Games Season 1
Sacred Games Season 1 Overview:The story of Season 1 revolves around the two main characters: Ganesh Gaitonde-Most Wanted Gangster of Mumbai, and Sartaj Singh- A junior police officer, waiting for a big case to prove himself.
While Sartaj is handling his broken marriage and miserable job, one day, he got a call from Ganesh Gaitonde himself, who told him that something big is going to happen in Mumbai City, and only he can save the city. What is the big plan Gaitonde talking about? What is the relation between Sartaj and Gangster Gaitonde? Will Sartaj be able to solve the mystery? All these questions will be answered one by one in Season 1.
Episode 1: Ashwathama
Plot:The first episode begins with a heart-wrenching scene in which a dog is falling off from a high building. Later, the entry of Mumbai’s Biggest Gangster Ganesh Gaitonde happens, where he shot Jojo as she was mocking him for getting used by her for so many years. Sartaj Singh, who is troubled by his colleagues, suddenly gets an unknown call from Ganesh Gaitonde, who asks him to save the Mumbai City as something big is about to happen in the next 25 days. Gaitonde told him that he knew Sartaj’s father, and that is why seeking his help to save Mumbai City. After tracing Gaitonde’s location, when Sartaj reach to him, Gaitonde shot himself, leaving so many questions unsolved.
A flashback story, narrated by Ganesh Gaitonde, then follow the rest of the episode in which we learn about the dark childhood of the gangster. His father was a Priest, and his mother was a prostitute who calls another man at home while his father begs other people for money. This leads to humiliation and frustration in Gaitonde, who, one day, murders his mother and her lover with a huge rock. He then came to Mumbai from where his Gangster Journey begins. Flashbacks from Sartaj Singh reveals how his colleagues are pressurized him to lie about an encounter of an 18-year old guy, which he doesn’t want.
Episode 2: Halahala
Plot:With Gaitonde’s death, many prominent personalities of Mumbai like Politicians, an aspiring young actress Zoya and DCP Parulkar is in shock as they somehow related to Ganesh Gaitonde and investigation on his murder might reveal some of their deep dark secrets. DCP Parular doesn’t want Sartaj to learn about his relationship with Gaitonde and thus suspend him from the case. Sartaj then joins RAW Agent Anjali Mathur to investigate the matter. The episode revolves around the gangster journey of Ganesh Gaitonde and how he killed his second father, Salim Kaka, to gain his power. Then Kanta Bai and Paritosh Shah helped him to become the Mafia of Kailashwada by letting down his rival Momin. With the help of Kanta Bai, he learns the politics of Mafia and runs the business of bootleg liquor.
Episode 3: Atapi Vatapi
Plot:The episode revolves around Gaitonde’s right hand- Bunty, Gaitonde’s love interest- Kukkoo and his biggest rival- Suleman Isa. Gaitonde wanted to become more powerful than Isa, and for that, Kukkoo was the key. In a faceoff with Isa, Gaitonde finally wins Kukkoo. His victory is celebrated on his birthday party, where he meets Bipin Bhosale, a politician of that time who now is the Home Minister, and his helping hand Trivedi- who is the central character of this Mumbai Attack. In their Investigation, Sartaj and Anjali learn about Gaitonde’s connection with Jojo, and when they investigate Jojo’s house, they learn about Bunty and Nayanika (TV Actress and Bunty’s Girlfriend). With the help of Nayanika, they set a trap to catch Bunty.
Episode 4: Brahmahatya
Plot:Bunty learns about the trap set by Sartaj Singh, and Nayanika’s life is in danger. Anjali makes a deal with Bunty that if he tells her everything about his water tank business, then she will help him to escape to Singapur. Meanwhile, a mysterious man who was covering up all the shreds of evidence shows up and tries to kill Bunty. The flashback depicts how Bunty tries to convince Gaitonde to join politics after Bipin Bhosale offered him decent money to do so. People of Gaitonde’s gang start ridiculing him for his negative reputation and Kukkoo’s transgender status. Gaitonde decides to open an airline on Paritosh’s name, and Kukkoo reveals Gaitonde that she is transgender. Unaffected by this fact, Gaitonde still wants to marry her, but before that, she gets killed in a fight between Isa and Gaitonde.
Episode 5: Sarama
Plot:To resue Nayanika from Bunty, Sartaj asks Parular to send some police force with him, on which Parulkar asks him to give fake testimony in his favor on Bengali Bura case. Sartaj agrees and reaches to the location where Nayanika is captive. Before he could negotiate with Bunty, the police force starts firing, and Nayanika gets killed, while Bunty manages to escape. But before he could fly away, the mysterious men kill him. In the flashback, after Kukkoo’s death, devastated Gaitonde decides to kill 50 men of Isa, who fled away to Dubai. In the killing, Isa’s men kill Paritosh Bhai and his wife on the day of the marriage of Gaitonde with his maid Subhadra. Gaitonde blames Bunty for this death as he was distracted by a prostitute sent by Isa on the same day the killing happened.
Episode 6: Pretakalpa
Plot:As promised to Parulkar, Sartaj gave his testimony in favor of Parulkar. Actress Zoya’s boyfriend forces him to work in a movie; otherwise, he will reveal his relationship with Gaitonde. Zoya takes Parulkar’s help and gets him arrested in case of a Cocaine Overdose. While Investigating on Bengali Bura Case, a boy attacks on constable Katekar with a blade, and Katekar dies. Now Sartaj is left with only 17 days to save Mumbai by solving the mystery. Meanwhile, Anjali learns that one of the witnesses of Bunty’s murder was poisoned in the hospital.
Episode 7: Rudra
Plot:Anjali learns that the mysterious man is Malcolm, who is killing all the witnesses, and she decides to investigate further. Sartaj investigates Zoya and learns about Gaitonde’s partnership with Trivedi. The duo interrogates someone in IFS about Water Tanks, and after a struggle, they track down a train containing water tanks. Anjali reaches to the Trivedi’s office to investigate further, where Malcolm shot her in the head. In flashbacks, Gaitonde meets Trivedi and start forming a bond with his wife, Subhadra. Isa’s men again attack Gaitonde and kill Subhadra, leaving Bunty cripple. In avenge, Gaitonde kills 80 Muslims, and due to Babari Masjid Matter, police arrest him, where Parulkar tortures him as he has switch sides. While everyone was ill-treated him in the jail, Sartaj’s father, Dilbag Singh, showed kindness towards him.
Episode 8: Yayati
Plot:The finale episode revolves around Sartaj’s Struggle and Gaitonde’s third father- the mastermind of the attack. On the train, some goon caught Sartaj and hand him over to Malcolm. Malcolm, who is a religious person, reveals Sartaj how Gaitonde betrayed their cause, and there is a need to hit the reset button to clean humanity. As Sartaj tries to escape, Malcolm chops his thumb with an ax, but somehow Sartaj manages to find a massive warehouse with dull of military guns that might be used in the future to create communal violence. This is where the police force finds him. In flashbacks, Gaitonde learns that torture is not Isa’s plan but of Parulkar, Trivedi, and Bipin Bhosale.
Torture continues, but Dilbag Singh tries to help him by introducing him to Guruji (who later became his third father). After his freedom, Gaitonde is again attacked by Isa’s men, and Guruji rescues him. In the present, Sartaj visits his mom, where he saw Guruji on TV and the same Mandala pattern, which he saw at Gaitonde’s place. He again investigates that place and finds Trivedi in the basement with other material that indicates that a nuclear attack might be going to happen in Mumbai. With only 12 days left, How Sartaj be able to save his city? What is the connection between Guruji and Gaitonde? All these questions will be answered in Season 2.

Sacred Games Season 2 Overview:After the cliffhanger ending of Sacred Games Season 1, people were so excited to know the full mystery behind 25 days deadline and Gaitonde’s relationship with his third father-Guruji. Season 2 has all the answers you have in your mind and majorly revolves around Guruji, Gaitonde, and Sartaj (as Anjali and Trivedi are dead now). In Season 2, we will also learn that Is it the nuclear attack going to happen in Mumbai? If yes, then how Sartaj will resolve this mystery and stop the attack? Why Gaitonde killed himself and betrayed Guruji? Let’s spill some beans about all of these.
Episode 1: Matsya
Plot:Gaitonde found himself on a boat in the middle of an ocean. First, he thought, It is the plan of Isa and Parulkar, but later things get clear when Trivedi along with Raw Agent Khushboo Yadav meets him on the boat. Khushboo Yadav asks him to work for her by moving in Kenya, and she will help him in his revenge; otherwise, he has to spend the rest of his life on the boat. She also told him how his empire is finished in Mumbai, and now he is not “Sarv Shaktishali Eklauta Bhagwan,” which he used to be. Gaitonde claims his power in Kenya by killing Drug Mafia on Yadav’s demand. Yadav gives him Isa’s contact details. In the present, Sartaj is investigating the case and get some leads after he tracks the printing press publishing some mysterious religion poster. Bipin Bhosale is underground, while the relation between Zoya, Jojo, and Gaitonde has been revealed now.
Episode 2: Siduri
Plot:To avenge Isa, Gaitonde decides to diminish all his power and thus starts a business of Bootleg Liquor and Casinonamed Kukkoo. Gaitonde calls Dilbagh Singh seeking advice, and he asks him to find someone who can guide him and provide some peace. Gaitonde meets Batya, who ask him to meet Guruji and share his sorrows with Guruji. Though he refuses to meet Guruji, he starts watching his videos and talks with him on the phone, where Guruji provided him some solutions to heal his sorrows (just because he was aware of his lifestyle already). Sartaj learns from his mother that his father used to go to Guruji’s Ashram, where Guruji called him his Ashwatthama. Sartaj understands that his father, Gaitonde, and Guruji’s Ashram are somehow related to this mystery, and he joins the Ashram by faking his identity.
Episode 3: Apasmara
Plot:Sartaj and his team tracks down the boat containing radioactive material, after the testimony of two brothers. It is also revealed that Shahid Khan was behind Mumbai Blasts, and Isa was supporting him. Yadav wants to catch Shahid Khan, for which Gaitonde needs to speak with Isa. This whole thing frustrates him, and he decides not to work anymore for Yadav, on which Yadav destroys his entire drug empire in Kenya. Once again, he takes Guruji’s help, without knowing that he is luring into Guruji’s cruel plans. Gaitonde decides to make a film based on his life story, thinking that it will make him famous, but things turn against him. Parulkar tries to kill him, but Yadav manages to save him. This is where Gaitonde meets Jojo, and she tells him the reality behind the flop of his movie. Sartaj meets Yadav in the present, where he found her in a traumatized condition and asks her about her relationship with Anjali.
Episode 4: Bardo
Plot:Gaitonde decides to work for Yadav as he is powerless now and meets Isa, where he treats him like a stray dog and agrees to help him to kill Shahid. Deeply hurt by Isa’s behavior, Gaitonde seeks Guruji’s help, who asks him to give a sacrifice if he wants to live a life on his terms. Gaitonde betrays Yadav by not killing Shahid and joins Guruji by leaving his old life. He thinks that now his life will be sorted as he is with his beloved Guruji, but he was not aware that he is going in the dark world of religion and crimes. Guruji makes him believe that he is immortal, and only he can bring Satayuga back.
In the present, Sartaj and his team trace the chat between Shahid and his mates, decoding that attack might happen on 16th July. His past married life bothers him, and he seeks help from Batya, where she gives him a drug to heal his pain (the same drug Guruji gave to Gaitonde). Both Sartaj and Gaitonde experienced their past toxic memories, while Sartaj intimates with Batya, Gaitonde intimates with Guruji to forget their pain. Sartaj revisits Yadav to learn more about Shahid and finally able to decode the password.
Episode 5: Vikarna
Plot:Sartaj struggles with his addiction to the drug Batya gave him and started hallucinating. He learns that Gaitonde used to smuggle drugs from the Ashram to the other parts of the world in which Parulkar helped. In the past, Gaitonde gets jealous of Batya as she was getting all the favors from Guruji, and Gaitonde wanted to become Guruji’s favorite. That is when Guruji chooses Gaitonde for his operation “Satyug,” in which he reveals that how can “Nuclear Blasts” end up the Kalayug and Satayuga will arrive. He also explains how selected people can survive this blast and enter in the Satyug. Malcolm shots himself in front of Sartaj Singh, saying that he is making a necessary sacrifice. You will also learn about the past of Jojo and Yadav in this episode.
Episode 6: Azrael
Plot:Sartaj feels that Guruji is still alive and starts searching for him in the Ashram. That is when Batya reveals Satyug’s plan and how his father was involved in this plan. In the past, Guruji convinces Gaitonde that he will be above God once he enters in the Satyug. Malcolm plays an integral part in Guruji’s plan as he contacts Shahid Khan and asks him to initiate blasts to spark the war between India and Pakistan. He also provides Nuclear Weapons and place to assemble the bombs.
Meanwhile, Gaitonde, still doubting the Satyug plan, visits his old friends in Mumbai and Jojo too. Both ended up making love. Gaitonde makes a bunker for him with all the essential services to survive during the attack. Sartaj feels like his father betrayed him, and for a moment, he felt like the Satyug plan is good. He again takes that drug and lost in his sorrows.
Episode 7: Torino
Plot:Gaitonde confronts Guruji about Satyug Plan after knowing that this plan will harm his Mumbai. Guruji tries to manipulate him by saying he is Brahma, but he kills Guruji. Later, we learn about the childhood of Guruji and how he was a genius by birth and wanted to change the world after his father’s arrest. That is why he becomes Guruji to take the world towards Satyug. Officials interrogate Parulkar for his involvement with Isa, and he put the whole blame on Tripathi. Sartaj somehow starts believing that the Satyug Plan is essential, and Batya convinces him to find Guruji’s stolen Granth by Gaitonde. Sartaj somehow finds the Granth and hand over it to Batya, and she offers him a Bunker and white uniform to be a part of the team.
Episode 8: Radcliffe
Plot:People start leaving Mumbai after learning about Nuclear Blasts, and it seems like Sartaj surrenders himself in the Satyug Plan. Flashbacks reveal how Gaitonde killed Trivedi and Jojo after they told him the truth that everything he did was a plan of Guruji. Sartaj dreams about all his loved ones who will die in this Satyug Plan, and he decides to stop the attack. Majid somehow locates Shahid’s location, but before he could catch him, Shahid shoots him. Sartaj kills all the members of the cult and shoots Batya in the leg when she tries to stop her. Sartaj reaches to the location and, with the team of Bomb Diffuser, work to stop the attack.
Unable to generate the password to stop the attack, the team leaves the location to escape. But Sartaj decides to stay and try to decode the password by drawing the pattern he saw in Granth (in front of his father’s imprint). This is where the shows end, leaving with another cliffhanger ending that whether Sartaj guessed the right password or it results in the blast.
